Introduction

Contract

When you use our Services, you agree to all these terms. Your use of our Services is also subject to our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy, which cover how we collect, use, share, and store your personal information. You agree that by clicking "Join Now," "Join TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk," "Sign Up," or similar, registering, accessing, or using our Services (described below), you are entering into a legally binding contract with TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk (even if you are using our Services on behalf of a company).

If you do not agree to this Contract ("Contract" or "User Agreement"), do not click "Join Now" (or similar) and do not access or otherwise use any of our Services. If you wish to terminate this Contract at any time, you may do so by closing your account and ceasing to access or use our Services.

 

Services

This Contract applies to:

  • TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk
  • Travel Advances branded apps
  • Travel Advances Travel Guides & Insights
  • Travel Now
  • Travel 100
  • Travel Mates
  • Tommy Talk
  • Other Travel Advances-related sites, apps, communications, and services offered under this Contract

This includes off-site data collection for these Services, such as our advertising tools and Travel Advances share features.

Registered users of our Services are "Members," and unregistered users are "Visitors."

 

TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk

You are entering into this Contract with TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk ("we," "us").

We use the term "Designated Countries" to refer to the countries of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland.

  • If you reside in the Designated Countries, you are entering into this Contract with TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk USA Unlimited Company, which will be the controller of your personal data.
  • If you reside outside the Designated Countries, you are entering into this Contract with TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk Corp., which will be the controller of your personal data.

This Contract applies to both Members and Visitors. As a Visitor or Member, the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data is subject to this Privacy Policy (including our Cookie Policy and any referenced documents) and any updates.

 

Members and Visitors

When you register and join Travel Advances Services, you become a Member.

If you choose not to register, you may access certain features as a Visitor.

 

Change

We may modify this Contract, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through our Services or by other means, giving you the opportunity to review the changes before they take effect.

Changes cannot be retroactive.

If you object to any changes, you may close your account.

Your continued use of our Services after we publish or send notice of changes means that you consent to the updated terms as of their effective date.

 

Obligations

Service Eligibility

Here are some promises that you make to us in this Contract:

You're eligible to enter into this Contract, and you are at least our "Minimum Age." The Services are not intended for use by anyone under 18. To use the Services, you agree that:

  1. You must be the Minimum Age or older.
  2. You will only have one TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk account, which must be in your real name.
  3. You are not already restricted by TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk from using the Services.

Creating an account with false information is a violation of our terms, including accounts registered on behalf of others or for people under 18.

 

Your Account

You will keep your password a secret. You will not share an account with anyone else and will follow our rules and the law. Members are account holders.

You agree to:

  1. Use a strong password and keep it confidential.
  2. Not transfer any part of your account (e.g., Travel Mates, profile information, or access).
  3. Follow the law and our Travel Advances Community Standards (replacing "Professional Community Policies").

You are responsible for anything that happens through your account unless you close it or report misuse.

As between you and others (including your employer), your account belongs to you. However, if the Services were purchased by another party for you to use (e.g., a company-funded Travel Advances subscription), the party paying for such Services has the right to control access to and receive reports on your use of those paid Services; however, they do not have rights to your personal account.

 

Payment

You'll honor your payment obligations, and you consent to us storing your payment information. You understand that fees and taxes may be added to our prices. Refunds are subject to our policy.

If you buy any of our paid Services ("Premium Services"), you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable fees and taxes
  • Accept additional terms specific to those Services
  • Understand that failure to pay may result in termination of your paid Services

Also, you agree that:

  • Your purchase may be subject to foreign exchange fees or price differences based on location.
  • We may store and continue billing your payment method (e.g., credit card) even after it has expired, to avoid interruptions in your Services and to use it for other Services you may buy.
  • If you purchase a subscription, your payment method will automatically be charged at the start of each subscription period for the fees and taxes applicable to that period.
  • To avoid future charges, you must cancel before the renewal date.
  • All purchases are subject to TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk's refund policy.
  • We may calculate taxes based on the billing information you provide at the time of purchase.

 

Notices and Messages

You agree that we may provide notices and messages to you through:

  1. The Services
  2. The contact information you provide (e.g., email, mobile number, physical address)

If your contact information is out of date, you may miss important notices.

You agree to keep your contact information current.

Please review your settings to control and limit the messages you receive from us.

 

Sharing

When you share information on our Services, others can see, copy, and use that information.

Our Services allow messaging and information sharing in many ways, including:

  • Your travel profile
  • Travel posts (replacing "articles")
  • Travel Groups (replacing "group posts")
  • Links to travel-related content
  • Travel opportunities (replacing "job postings")
  • Messages
  • Travel Advances Messaging (replacing "InMail")

Information and content that you share or post may be seen by other Members, Visitors, or others (including off the Services).

Where we have made settings available, we will honor the choices you make about who can see content or information (e.g., message content to your addressees, sharing content only with your Travel Mates, restricting your profile visibility from search engines, or opting not to notify others of your Travel Advances profile update).

 

3. Rights and Limits

3.1 Your License to TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk

You own all the content, feedback, and personal information you provide to us, but you also grant us a non-exclusive license to it.

We will honor the choices you make about who gets to see your information and content, including how it can be used for ads.

As between you and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk, you own the content and information that you submit or post to the Services, and you grant us and our affiliates a worldwide, transferable, and sublicensable right to:

  • Use
  • Copy
  • Modify (formatting only)
  • Distribute
  • Publish
  • Process

...information and content that you provide through our Services and the services of others, without further consent, notice, or compensation to you or others.

These rights are limited in the following ways:

  • You can end this license for specific content by deleting such content from the Services, or generally by closing your account, except:

(a) where you shared it with others and they copied, reshared, or stored it; and

(b) for a reasonable time to remove it from backup systems.

  • We will not include your content in advertisements for third-party products or services without your separate consent.

However, we may serve ads near your content, and your social actions may be visible with ads, as noted in the Privacy Policy.

  • If you use a Service feature, we may mention it with your name or photo to promote it within our Services, subject to your settings.
  • If you choose to share your post as "public," we may enable features that allow other Members to embed that public post onto third-party services, and we may enable search engines to index that content.
  • We may edit and make formatting changes to your content (e.g., translating, transcribing, modifying size or layout, removing metadata), but we will not modify the meaning of your expression.

Because you own your content and information, and we have only non-exclusive rights to it, you may choose to make it available to others, including under a Creative Commons license.

You and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk agree that any content that includes personal data is subject to our Privacy Policy.

You and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk agree that we may access, store, process, and use any information and personal data you provide in accordance with the Privacy Policy and your choices (including settings).

By submitting suggestions or other feedback regarding our Services, you agree that TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk may use and share such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

You promise to only provide information and content that you have the right to share, and that your Travel Advances profile will be truthful.

You agree to only provide content or information that does not violate the law or anyone's rights (including intellectual property rights). You also agree that your profile information will be truthful. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk may be required by law to remove certain information or content in certain countries.

 

Service Availability

We may change or end any Service or modify our prices prospectively. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any of our Services. We may also modify our prices, prospectively and with reasonable notice, to the extent permitted by law.

We do not promise to store or continue to display any information or content you have posted. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk is not a storage service. You agree that we have no obligation to store, maintain, or provide you with a copy of any content or information that you or others provide, except to the extent required by applicable law and as noted in our Privacy Policy.

 

Other Content, Sites, and Apps

Your use of others' content and information posted on our Services is at your own risk. Others may offer their products, services, or travel-related activities through our platform, and we are not responsible for those third-party offerings.

By using the Services, you may encounter content or information that is inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, misleading, illegal, offensive, or otherwise harmful. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk generally does not review content provided by Members or others. You agree that we are not responsible for others' (including other Members') content or information.

We cannot always prevent misuse of our Services, and you agree that we are not responsible for any such misuse.

You also acknowledge the risk that you or your organization may be mistakenly associated with content about others when our platform notifies Members or Travel Mates about activity related to your profile or travel content. Members have choices about these visibility features.

 

Member-to-Member Services

TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk may help connect Members offering travel-related services (such as itinerary planning, travel photography, translation, or local guiding) with Members seeking such services. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk does not perform or employ individuals to perform these services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to offer, perform, or procure these services.

You acknowledge that TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk does not supervise, direct, control, or monitor Members in the performance of these services and agree that:

  1. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk is not responsible for the offering, performance, or procurement of these services.
  2. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk does not endorse any particular Member's offered services.
  3. Nothing shall create an employment, agency, or joint-venture relationship between TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk and any Member offering services.

If you are a Member offering services, you represent and warrant that you have all required licenses and will provide services in accordance with our Travel Advances Community Standards.

 

Events and Meetups

Similarly, TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk may help you register for and/or attend events organized by Members and connect with other Members attending such events.

You agree that:

  1. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk is not responsible for the conduct of any Members or other attendees at such events.
  2. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk does not endorse any particular event listed on our Services.
  3. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk does not review or vet any of these events.
  4. You will adhere to any terms and conditions that apply to such events.

 

Limits

We have the right to limit how you connect and interact with our Services. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk may limit your use of the Services, including the number of Travel Mates you may have and your ability to contact other Members.

TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your account if you breach this Contract, violate the law, or misuse the Services (e.g., violating any of the Dos and Don'ts or the Travel Advances Community Standards).

 

Intellectual Property Rights

We are providing you with notice about our intellectual property rights. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk reserves all intellectual property rights in the Services.

Trademarks and logos used in connection with the Services are the trademarks of their respective owners. TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used for our Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk.

 

Automated Processing

We use data and information about you to make relevant suggestions to you and others. We use the information and data you provide, along with the data we have about Members, to make recommendations for:

  • Travel Mates
  • Travel Groups
  • Travel content
  • Destinations
  • Travel Now suggestions
  • Travel 100 insights
  • Features that may be useful to you

Keeping your profile accurate and up to date helps us make these recommendations more accurate and relevant.

 

Disclaimer and Limit of Liability

No Warranty

This is our disclaimer of legal liability for the quality, safety, or reliability of our Services.

TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk and its affiliates make no representation or warranty about the Services, including any representation that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, and provide the Services (including content and information) on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk and its affiliates disclaim any implied or statutory warranty, including any implied warranty of:

  • Title
  • Accuracy of data
  • Non-infringement
  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose

 

Exclusion of Liability

These are the limits of our legal liability to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law (and unless TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk has entered into a separate written agreement that overrides this Contract), TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk, including its affiliates, will not be liable in connection with this Contract for:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost business opportunities
  • Reputation harm (e.g., offensive or defamatory statements)
  • Loss of data (e.g., downtime, loss, use of, or changes to your information or content)
  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages

TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk and its affiliates will not be liable to you in connection with this Contract for any amount that exceeds:

(A) the total fees paid or payable by you to TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk for the Services during the term of this Contract, if any, or

(B) US $1.00, whichever is greater.

 

Basis of the Bargain; Exclusions

The limitations of liability in this Section are part of the basis of the bargain between you and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk and apply to all claims of liability (e.g., warranty, tort, negligence, contract, and law), even if TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk or its affiliates has been told of the possibility of such damage, and even if these remedies fail their essential purpose.

These limitations do not apply to liability for:

  • Death or personal injury
  • Fraud
  • Gross negligence
  • Intentional misconduct
  • Negligence involving breach of a material obligation

...but only to the extent that damages were directly caused by the breach, were foreseeable at the time of contracting, and are typical in the context of this Contract.

 

Termination

We can each end this Contract, but some rights and obligations survive. Both you and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk may terminate this Contract at any time upon notice to the other party. Upon termination, you lose the right to access or use the Services.

The following shall survive termination:

  • Our rights to use and disclose your feedback.
  • Members' and/or Visitors' rights to further re-share content and information you shared through the Services.
  • Sections 4, 6, 7, and 8.2 of this Contract.
  • Any amounts owed by either party prior to termination remain owed after termination.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

In the unlikely event that we end up in a legal dispute, depending on where you live, you and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk agree to resolve it in Texas courts using Texas law.

If you are a business user within the scope of Article 6(12) of the EU Digital Markets Act ("DMA") and have a dispute arising out of or in connection with Article 6(12) of the DMA, you may also utilize the alternative dispute resolution mechanism available in the Help Center.

For others outside of Designated Countries, including those who live outside of the United States:

You and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk agree that the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A., excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, shall exclusively govern any dispute relating to this Contract and/or the Services. You and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk both agree that all claims and disputes may be litigated only in the federal or state courts in Tarrant County, Texas, and you and TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk each agree to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

 

General Terms

Here are some key details about the Contract:

  • If a court with authority over this Contract finds any part of it unenforceable, you and we agree that the court should modify the terms to make that part enforceable while still achieving its intent.
  • If the court cannot do that, you and we agree to ask the court to remove that unenforceable part and still enforce the rest of this Contract.
  • This Contract (including additional terms that may be provided when you engage with a feature of the Services) is the only agreement between us regarding the Services and supersedes all prior agreements for the Services.
  • If we do not act to enforce a breach of this Contract, that does not mean that TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk has waived its right to enforce it.
  • You may not assign or transfer this Contract (or your membership or use of the Services) to anyone without our consent.
  • However, you agree that TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk may assign this Contract to its affiliates or a party that buys the company without your consent.
  • There are no third-party beneficiaries to this Contract.
  • You agree that the only way to provide us with legal notice is at the addresses provided in Section 10.

 

TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk - "Dos and Don'ts"

TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk is a community of travelers. This list of Dos and Don'ts, along with our Travel Advances Community Standards, limits what you can and cannot do with our Services.

Do's

You agree that you will:

  • Comply with all applicable laws, including privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, export control laws, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide us with accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Use your real name on your profile and use the Services responsibly and authentically.

Don't's

You agree that you will not:

  • Create a false identity on TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk, misrepresent your identity, create a Member profile for anyone other than yourself (a real person), or use or attempt to use another person's account.
  • Develop, support, or use software, devices, scripts, robots, or any other means or processes (including crawlers, browser plugins, add-ons, or other technology) to scrape the Services or otherwise copy profiles or other data from the Services.
  • Override any security feature or bypass or circumvent any access controls or use limits of the Service.
  • Copy, use, disclose, or distribute any information obtained from the Services, whether directly or through third parties, without the consent of TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk.
  • Disclose information that you do not have consent to disclose (such as confidential information of others).

You also agree not to:

  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights.
  • Copy or distribute the posts or other content of others without their permission (except through available sharing functionality).
  • Violate the intellectual property or other rights of TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk, including:
  • Copying or distributing our travel guides, videos, or materials
  • Copying or distributing our technology unless released under open-source licenses
  • Using the name "TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk" or our logos in any business name, email, or URL except as permitted in our Brand Guidelines
  • Post anything that contains software viruses, worms, or harmful code.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decipher, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for the Services or any related technology that is not open source.
  • Imply or state that you are affiliated with or endorsed by TRAVELADVANCES.COM dba Tommy Talk without our express consent.
  • Rent, lease, loan, trade, sell/re-sell, or otherwise monetize the Services or related data or access without our consent.
  • Deep-link to our Services for any purpose other than to promote your profile or a Travel Group on our Services.
  • Use bots or automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, or send or redirect messages.
  • Monitor the Services' availability, performance, or functionality for competitive purposes.
  • Engage in "framing," "mirroring," or otherwise simulating the appearance or function of the Services.
  • Overlay or modify the Services or their appearance (such as by inserting elements or removing, covering, or obscuring content or advertisements).
  • Interfere with the operation of, or place an unreasonable load on, the Services (e.g., spam, denial-of-service attacks, viruses, gaming algorithms).
  • Violate the Travel Advances Community Standards or any additional terms that apply to specific features.

 

Complaints Regarding Content

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. We require that information posted by Members be accurate and not violate the intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties.

We provide a policy and process for submitting complaints about content posted by our Members, including:

  • Copyright infringement
  • Trademark misuse
  • Privacy violations
  • Defamation
  • Safety concerns
  • Fraudulent or harmful content

If you believe content violates your rights or the rights of others, you may submit a complaint through our Help Center, where we outline the steps required for review and potential removal.

You create your Travel Advances profile, and a complete profile helps you get the most from our Services.

Profile

You have choices about the information on your profile, such as:

  • Travel interests
  • Travel history
  • Photos
  • City or region
  • Languages
  • Travel preferences
  • Groups you join
  • Travel Mates you connect with

You do not have to provide additional profile information; however, profile information helps you get more from our Services, including helping others discover your travel style and interests.

It is your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile and whether to make that information public.

Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly available.

You may also give us other data, such as by synchronizing your address book or calendar.

Posting and Uploading

We collect personal data when you provide, post, or upload it to our Services, such as when you:

  • Fill out forms
  • Respond to surveys
  • Upload travel photos or videos
  • Share travel stories or recommendations
  • Participate in Travel Groups
  • Submit travel-related content

If you opt to import your address book, we receive your contacts. If you synchronize your contacts or calendars with our Services, we collect that information to help you discover Travel Mates, coordinate travel plans, and receive event-related information (e.g., times, locations, attendees).

You do not have to post or upload personal data; however, if you choose not to, it may limit your ability to fully engage with our Services.

 

Data from Others

Content and Travel Activity

You and others may post content that includes information about you (as part of travel posts, comments, photos, or videos) on our Services.

We may also collect publicly available information about you, such as travel-related content or public mentions, and make it available as part of our Services, including notifications to others (as permitted by your settings).

Others may sync their contacts or calendars with our Services.

Contact and Calendar Information

We receive personal data about you when others:

  • Import or sync their contacts
  • Sync their calendars
  • Associate their contacts with Member profiles
  • Send messages using our Services
  • Invite you to join Travel Advances
  • Add you as a Travel Mate

If you or others opt in to sync email accounts with our Services, we may collect "email header" information that can be associated with Member profiles.

Customers and partners may also provide data to us.

 

Service Use

We log your visits and use of our Services, including mobile apps.

We log usage data when you:

  • Visit or use our sites or apps
  • View or click on travel content
  • Interact with Travel Now or Travel 100
  • Perform searches
  • Install or update our mobile apps
  • Share travel posts
  • Interact with Travel Mates
  • Use Tommy Talk or other AI features

We use logins, cookies, device information, and IP addresses to identify you and log your use.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We collect data through cookies and similar technologies. As described in our Cookie Policy, we use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., pixels, tags, and device identifiers) to recognize you and your device(s) across our Services and across other sites where you interact with Travel Advances features.

We also allow certain third parties to use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Posts, Likes, Follows, Comments, Messages

Our Services allow viewing and sharing information, including through posts, likes, follows, and comments.

When you share a travel post (e.g., an update, image, video, itinerary, or travel story) publicly, it can be viewed by everyone and re-shared anywhere (subject to your settings). Members, Visitors, and others may find and view your publicly shared content, including your name and profile photo (if provided).

In Travel Groups, posts are visible to other group members.

Your Travel Group memberships are public and part of your profile, but you may adjust their visibility in your settings.

Any information you share through Travel Pages (e.g., company pages, destination pages, or organization pages) will be viewable by those page owners and others who visit those pages.

When you follow a person, destination, or organization, you are visible to others-and to that page owner-as a follower.

We notify senders when you act on their message, subject to your settings.

Subject to your settings, we also notify a Member when you view their profile.

When you like, re-share, or comment on another Member's content (including sponsored travel content), others may view these "social actions" and associate them with you (e.g., your name, profile, and photo).

Communication Archival

Certain regulated Members may need to store communications outside of our Service.

We enable the archiving of messages by and to those Members outside of our Services, consistent with applicable laws and regulations.

Others' Services

You may link your Travel Advances account with third-party services so they can:

  • Look up your contacts' profiles
  • Post your Travel Advances shares on their platforms
  • Enable you to start conversations with your contacts on those platforms

Excerpts from your profile may also appear on third-party services.

Subject to your settings, other services may look up your profile.

When you link your account to other services, your personal data may be made available to them.

We are committed to the safety of our community.

The following behaviors and content are strictly prohibited:

 

Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation

Travel Advances has zero tolerance for content that sexualizes or exploits children.

We report all instances of apparent child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Any account found to be involved in such activities will be immediately and permanently banned.

 

Do Not Promote Illegal or Dangerous Goods or Services

Content that promotes, sells, or facilitates the sale of:

  • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
  • Human trafficking
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Other illegal goods or services

Do Not Promote Dangerous Organizations or Individuals

  • Hate groups
  • Criminal organizations
  • Mass or serial murderers

Be Trustworthy

Our community is built on trust. Behaviors that undermine trust are prohibited.

 

Do Not Share False or Misleading Content

  • Designed to deceive others
  • Manipulated media that could confuse people
  • Conspiracy theories that could cause harm

 

Do Not Create a Fake Profile

Your profile should represent you authentically.

Do not:

  • Create fake or bot accounts
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with organizations
  • Use fake names or false credentials

 

Do Not Swindle, Defraud, or Deceive

Do not use our Services to:

  • Scam other Members
  • Engage in phishing attempts
  • Commit financial fraud
  • Deceive people for financial gain

 

Do Not Be Hateful

We do not tolerate hate speech or discrimination based on:

  • Race or ethnicity
  • National origin
  • Religion
  • Sexual orientation
  • Gender or gender identity
  • Disability
  • Age
  • Veteran status
  • Any other protected characteristic

 

Do Not Engage in Sexual Innuendos or Unwanted Advances

Our platform is not intended for dating or sexual solicitation.

Do not:

  • Send sexually explicit messages
  • Make unwanted romantic or sexual advances
  • Share sexually explicit content
  • Engage in sexual harassment

 

Do Not Share Harmful or Shocking Material

Do not share content that:

  • Contains gratuitous violence
  • Depicts self-harm or suicide
  • Is designed to shock or disturb
  • Promotes dangerous activities

 

Do Not Spam Members or the Platform

Spam degrades the quality of the community experience.

Do not:

  • Send unsolicited commercial messages
  • Post repetitive or irrelevant content
  • Use automated tools to interact with the platform
  • Manipulate engagement metrics

 

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

 

Travel Advances respects the intellectual property rights of others.

Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on our Services in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide written notification containing:

Counter-Notice
